Spain Security sources have reported that a hundred youths from Spain have joined the terrorist group al- Nusra Syrian Front which is linked to Al- Qaeda.
In their article ‘Lost Voyage’ published in El Pais newspaper last Saturday the author cited several security sources say about 95 Spanish citizens or residents of Spain immigrants have joined terrorist groups operating against the Syrian Government’s President Bashar al- Assad.
According to the newspaper, 13 of the fighters are Spanish and the rest Moroccan and all are legal residents in six Spanish cities, Catalonia , Madrid, Malaga , Alicante , Ceuta and Melilla.
Although at least 11 of them have so far died in suicide attacks, authorities are concerned that they may eventually return to Spain having been trained in weaponry and explosives and working under the orders of Al- Qaeda.
