Bikes and sheep take to the streets of Madrid

Driving through the streets of Madrid proved nothing short of impossible this weekend, as the “Day of the Bike” fiesta, aimed at highlighting the reduction of pollution and how we can all do our bit to help the environment, coincided with another event which saw 2,000 sheep making their way through the city roadway.

After clearing the mess left by the natural appearance of the rare sight of the animals on the streets, over 30,000 people took to two wheels and cycled through the center of the capital, on a 22 kilometers ride, where all the family could enjoy a fiesta of music, costume and fun, that this year has reached its 35th edition.
