13/11/2013. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) climbed 0.4% month-on-month in October, significantly lower than twelve months ago (0.9%). According to the data published on Wednesday by the National Statistics Institute (Spanish acronym: INE), the year-on-year rate fell by 0.4 percentage points on September to now stand at -0.1%. This is the lowest year-on-year rate since October 2009.
