Government approves the Draft Law on Maritime Navigation

22/11/2013. The regulation unifies the legislation on maritime navigation, establishes the responsibilities of ship owners and operators and includes measures to protect the environment and underwater natural heritage. It also contributes towards the fight against illegal immigration by stepping up the responsibility of ship captains for stowaways.
