Aled Jones joins the congregation of St Michael the Archangel Church in the rural Yorkshire Dales village of Kirkby Malham, for their traditional candlelight Christmas Eve carol service.
The celebrations include festive performances from Tenor Russell Watson, Britain’s Got Talent finalists Richard and Adam, choirboy Jack Topping and Emmerdale’s Natalie Anderson.
Along with everyone’s favourite carols, the service also features Christmas prayers and bible readings from Gaynor Faye (Emmerdale) and Paul Heiney (Countrywise).
The programme is a celebration of family and community spirit at Christmas and will highlight the wonderful work carried out by local rural organisations and support groups.
