CPI stands at 0.3% in December

According to the data published on Wednesday by the Spanish National Statistics Institute(INE), the Consumer Price Index (CPI) posted a month-on-month increase of 0.1% in December – a repeat of last year – and a year-on-year increase of 0.1 points to 0.3%. This is the lowest end-of-year rate since current records began and reflects a steep fall in inflation over the course of 2013 as a whole (2.6 percentage points).
