The Guardia Civil is investigating the case of a 65 year old woman who was rushed into Torrevieja Hospital after falling from the balcony of a block of flats on the Avenida de las Habaneras on Tuesday.
Fortunately the drop was cushioned slightly when she landed on the bonnet of a car which was parked below.
A unit from Samu attended the incident along with officers from the Policia Local and the Guardia Civil. She was accompanied to the hospital by her daughter.
