With Ibex Bags and Treasure Hunt Instructions in hand they were off on the 500 meter trail to find some "Treasure" and as well as the usual points collecting, this time with a maximum possible score of 250 points – there were also some extra items – a paintbrush meant 4 art lessons with Suzanne Stokes, a plate with a knife and fork won a meal for two at Chillies the new Indian Restaurant in El Raso, a Red T Shirt gave two VIP tickets to The Fashion Show at The Complete Woman which is part of The Summer Fayre coming up at Quesada Country Club on Thursday May 22nd starting at 11.00a.m, for finding a lovely blue butterfly in cardboard the prize was a butterfly necklace, for finding a "Cinderella" single shoe the prize was a shoe money box and for finding a fabulous long black curly wig the prize was a cut and blow dry by local Hairdressers Pinks in Benijofar.
The last item for everyone to collect was a windscreen sun protector once again kindly sponsored by Ibex. Mike Thornton from Essential Life Services helped to lay the trail and was on hand to help with registration and to give out water at the old finca and Jeanette Simpson also from Essential Life Services was on raffle duty. Kristoff came to take official photographs and Kas the Clairvoyant was also there for spiritual readings. The entrance money and the raffle raised €120 for The Children’s Home in Elche. The winners of the actual treasure hunt with the maximum of 250 points were Louise, Sophie and Leonie, who win the prize of a meal at Bar Sofia. Pictured here in the middle is Sophie who has been looking after the giant teddy who was kindly donated by Wendy Dellar and Teddy was won by Chris who had already said if they won Sophie could have him.
