In their third pre season friendly, held last week at Pinatar Arena, FC Cartagena played out a goalless draw against La Liga’s Valencia Mestalla in front of an enthusiastic 500 spectators.
Chances fell to both sides in this even encounter in which Cartagena fielded a number of players who had not figured in the previous two matches against Betis and Rayo
Cartagena Coach, Julio Cesar Ribas, said he was very happy with his team’s performance which he fully expects to earn promotion to Segunda A in the coming season.
