The biggest show of 2015 will take place at the ORIHUELA Costa Resort Concert Hall, La Zenia on Saturday 31st January. It is entitled ‘Music of the Night’ and is presented by singer/conductor Nigel Hopkins.
The show features the impressive 60-strong Melody Makers International, and the amazing talented youngsters of Cantemos! Youth Choir. Special guests will be the new girls’ harmony singing sensation, KARISMA (pictured) who are the four senior soloists of Cantemos! and who received so many rave reviews on their debut in November of last year.
The programme contains a mixture of popular musicals, such as Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sound of Music and Pickwick, as well as special arrangements of songs from such artistes as Barry Manilow, Frank Sinatra, and the Bee Gees.
The Youth Choir will perform a fully-staged medley from the musical Annie, as well as a selection of Disney songs including ‘Let It Go’ from Frozen. KARISMA will perform specially written arrangements of songs from Les Miserables, A Chorus Line, Sound of Music and others.
As usual the whole show will be accompanied by a professional band flown in from the UK, conducted by Nigel Hopkins, and will contain several special features and surprises. Tickets for the two shows (2pm and 8pm) are available from La Ponderosa Gift Shop at La Zenia (but NOT from the Orihuela Costa Resort Hotel which is closed until the show).
