Bank Detail Hacker Arrested
Officers from the National Police have arrested a 27 year old computer expert, accused of hacking into accounts and selling the details of Spanish bank users.
The hacker is said by the police to be well known in the cybercrime field and could have shared the data of 1,100 bank card holders, with economic losses valued at between one and four million euro.
Thanks to the extensive investigation, the arrest was made in Madrid, where 4 laptop computers, 4 hard drives, 8 storage devices and 3 mobile phones were seized.
