Opposition groups on San Fulgencio council have united to slam a 20 percent hike in property taxes in the municipality. The IBI rises were announced by the mayor, Carlos Ramirez, who blamed the increase on a close to four thousand drop in the number of residents on the local padron, which meant that their state grant had dropped by 600 thousand euros per annum.
