Busy Day Cruising

Alicante had a particularly busy day on Tuesday as 6,100 cruise passengers and crew arrived at the same time on board two ships.

P&O´s El Ventura arrived from Italy with 3,200 passengers on board, whereas the Artania carried 1,200 passengers from Málaga.

Unlike Torrevieja there was no little train waiting to take them on a tour of the city but numerous coaches were laid on to take the passengers on a variety of excursions both in Alicante itself, and the surrounding area.
