The Guardia Civil is investigating the death of a 72-year old British citizen whose body was found close to the salt lakes at around 20:30 on Tuesday evening.
The body shows no signs of violence and was in a state of decomposition and thought to have been there for several days.
Officials state that there is no missing persons report filed that matches the description of the deceased.
A couple walking in the area discovered the body and raised the alarm.
