Extra Cleaning Performed on Orihuela Costa Rubbish Containers

The cleaning of rubbish containers across the Orihuela Costa has been significantly improved with a major programme, claims Orihuela council. Road cleaning councillor Dámaso Aparicio said this week that the “service had been considerably improved after demands from local residents over the years”.

Three extra staff members have been brought in, according to Aparicio, which has seen 683 containers cleaned since the start of the year, including night working. The project is expected to be completed by the start of next week.
