Prosecutor Asks for 15 Years for Wife-Killer Vet

In a trial set to start on Monday, the prosecutor has asked for 15 years in prison for a Benijófar-based vet who killed his wife and disposed of the body in March, 2013.

According to the court notes, the man is accused of killing his wife, who also worked with him in the veterinary practice, and then disposed of her body in an unknown place.

At the time of his arrest, the Guardia Civil reported that the man had carried out a botched weight loss procedure on his wife, then dismembered the body, with some parts being disposed of via the animal cremation service.
