Two Brits Arrested for Reckless Driving After Being Thrown Out of Torrevieja Nightclub

Two British nationals were arrested for drunk and reckless driving after being thrown out of a Torrevieja night club. The incident happened early last Saturday morning after three people were evicted from the Velice club on the city’s Casgrande industrial estate, and got into a car.

Two of the three were described by authorities as British, who said that they drove the car dangerously including onto the pavement and the outside area of the club threatening the lives of by-standers.

Local police and Guardia Civil officers managed to stop the vehicle after the occupants tried to trick them, as a non-driver switched places with the driver during a chase. The original driver was found to be four times over the alcohol limit. No further details about the trio like their ages or sex were provided.
