A Spanish consumer group, FACUA, has issued a warning on behalf of the IKEA furniture store of the withdrawal of a product, the Sladda bike, and all its accessories.
The Swedish company has reported that there is a defect in the transmission belt that could cause its breakage and, therefore, result in riders falling off the bike.
IKEA has also asked anybody who already owns one of these bicycles to refrain from using it and return it to any IKEA store for a refund.
