A man was arrested in the Alicante town of Rojales as the suspect in a domestic violence led murder.
Officers from the Guardia Civil are investigating the death of a 34-year-old woman as the victim of domestic violence, the suspect appearing before Torrevieja courts on Thursday.
The woman died on Monday after a “strong” argument between the pair who had been living in the area from their native Hungary since September.
The suspect in the case is so far denying any involvement.
