The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, guarantees that the vaccination plan against the coronavirus envisaged in Spain will be fulfilled both with or without the AstraZeneca doses and, therefore, by the end of September, practically all the population will be immunised.

Sánchez has ratified the government’s provisions for the vaccination process in an informal conversation with journalists covering the tour he is making in Africa and which concludes this Friday in Senegal.
The decisions that are taking place around the inoculation of the AstraZeneca vaccine and that have now led the Ministry of Health and the communities to only allow its use in people between 60 and 69 years old, will not alter the Executive’s plans, according to Sánchez.
