The Guardia Civil has investigated a woman as the alleged perpetrator of two crimes against road safety for driving a car under the influence of alcohol and without a driving licence by a court decision.

The events happened at km. 10,300 of the GC-1 highway in Las Palmas, when another driver warned the agents of the abnormal driving of the vehicle in front of him. The motorcyclists of the Traffic Group verified how the car was driving at an abnormally slow speed for the road and not maintaining a straight path, with erratic lateral movements (zig-zag). The agents made the appropriate signals for the vehicle to leave the highway safely at the exit to Marpequeña (Telde), in order to avoid a sinister road and stop it in a safe place.
The Guardia Civil identified the driver who showed obvious signs of drunkenness. Reason for which the legally established alcohol detection tests were carried out, yielding a rate higher than 0.60 mg / l of exhaled air, triple that which is allowed, for which an investigation was carried out for an alleged crime against road safety .
In addition, it was found that the driver had in effect a deprivation of her driving license by judicial decision, proceeding to investigate her for a second crime against road safety.
