Thus, for people from high-risk countries, and as has been implemented in other countries of the European Union, they will be required, as of December 30, a certificate of negative diagnostic test and, in addition, a certificate of vaccination or the same recovery.
Additionally, as of February 1, 2022, vaccination certificates issued from 14 days after the date of administration of the last dose of the complete vaccination regimen will be accepted as valid, provided that no more than 270 days have elapsed from the last dose administration date.
The Spain Travel Health (STPH) application for the control of travellers at the border will, consequently, allow people from high-risk countries to provide two certificates, one of them being a diagnosis of active infection and the other of vaccination or recovery, generating the corresponding QR and as of February 1, 2022, the validity period of 270 days will apply to vaccination certificates.
The lists of countries or areas at risk and high risk are published on the website of the Ministry of Health: https://www.mscbs.gob.es and on the SpTH website: https: // www.spth. gob.es .
