Thus, from 00:00 hours on February 14, travellers between 12 and 17 years of age from these countries and who are not in possession of a valid vaccination certificate, will be able to present a molecular nucleic acid amplification test. NAAT (RT-PCR or similar) of SARS-CoV-2 with a negative result, performed 72 hours before arrival in our country.

The Ministries of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation have participated in this Order, signed by the Minister of the Interior; and Industry, Commerce and Tourism and Health.

Likewise, those under 12 years of age, traveling with an adult, will not be subject to any type of health requirement, as was the case until now.

This measure is also in line with the proposal to amend Recommendation (EU) 2020/912 on the temporary restriction of non-essential travel to the EU, which is currently being reviewed.
