As regards the evolution of infections in China, the Ministry of Health, after the meeting of the Alert Report and the Public Health Commission and in line with the measures announced by other countries such as Italy, the USA. and France, has reported the implementation of controls on travellers from China at Spanish airports. Among them, the presentation of a test against COVID-19 with a negative result or the complete vaccination schedule will be required, with vaccines authorised by the World Health Organisation (WHO). Likewise, in coordination with AENA, work is being done to carry out COVID-19 tests on travellers arriving from this country.
At the European level, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Spain is promoting the call within the framework of the EU for the Integrated Political Response Device to Crises (RPIC Device), to adopt a common position of measures of entry to passengers from China.
