The Second Section of the Provincial Court in Malaga will hear provisional evidence from today, Thursday, in a trial against a man, for whom 13 years in prison are claimed, accused of raping a colleague from a special work centre.
According to the indictment, the events date back to the first half of 2016, while the defendant and the victim, both with a recognised disability greater than 40 percent, were employed in a special centre.
In his account, the Public Prosecutor points out that on at least three occasions, the man took advantage of the fact that they were left alone in the centre to rape her by forcefully grabbing her hair and hands or throwing her to the ground. On other occasions, the defendant touched himself in front of the victim, who has suffered psychological consequences due to these events.
The man is accused of a continued crime of sexual assault with carnal access to a particularly vulnerable victim. In addition to the prison sentence, the Public Ministry requests a restraining order for 20 years and 8 years of probation.
