Two more sex crimes are being tried today in the Valencia regional courts, in the Second and Fifth Section.
In the first of them, the defendant is a man who faces two years in prison for harassing a woman on a street in Sueca (Valencia) and touching her private parts.
The events occurred on February 6, 2022, when, according to the Prosecutor’s Office, the defendant ran into the victim on the street and called her ‘cute’. The victim quickened her pace, and the defendant followed her for a while, until he approached her, cornered her against a fence and struggled with her while touching her all over her body.
In the second trial, the defendant is a man who faces 7 years in prison for tricking a woman into getting a massage.
The defendant contacted the victim, who advertised on a website for cleaning or childcare services and told her that he was a professional masseur and that he needed people to practice new massage techniques, for which he offered him 15 euro if he could practice on her.
The woman accepted from the conviction of the agreed terms and on September 15, 2021, she went to the defendant’s house, in Valencia. Once there, she undressed and lay face down on a stretcher. According to her public accusation, the man began groping her back, her legs and her buttocks. He then asked her to turn around, touched her chest and sexually assaulted her, which caused the woman an emotional block that prevented her from reacting.
