The criminal sections of the Provincial Court of Valencia will hear evidence in two cases of sexual abuse, committed on minors.
On Tuesday in the Fourth Section, a man accused of sexually abusing a 6-year-old girl at the time of the events, a friend of his youngest son, is on trial.
The events occurred on at least five occasions, between December 2021 and February 2022, in the defendant’s home, when the girl was left in the defendant’s care due to the friendship between her and the girl’s mother.
According to the public prosecution, the defendant deceived the victim with games to make her touch his genitals and requests six years in prison for a continued crime of sexual abuse.
Also on Tuesday and in the same section, a man who the Prosecutor’s Office is demanding a twelve-year sentence for raping the 12-year-old daughter of a woman he knew and with whom he spent the night at a home in a municipality in l’Horta Sud will be tried.
The events occurred on the morning of December 4, 2021, when the victim’s mother went to work and left the defendant at home with her daughter. The Prosecutor’s Office maintains that the man made the minor enter the room and sexually assaulted her until she managed to escape by hitting him on the genitals. The defendant fled to Amsterdam, where he was arrested six days later.
