The Spanish hydraulic reserve stands at 38.8% of its total capacity (56,069 hm³), compared to 36.9% the previous year and 54.5% of the average for the last decade.
The reservoirs currently store 21,750 hm³ of water, decreasing in the last week by 629 hm³ (1.1% of the current total capacity of the reservoirs).
In Spain, the average user consumes around 130 litres of water per year.
The average level of reserves on the Atlantic slope is 38.7%, where the situation in the Guadalete-Barbate basin stands out, with 17.4% and the Guadalquivir, with 20%.
In the basins of the Mediterranean slope, this level stands at 39.1%, highlighting the Internal Basins of Catalonia, with 25.1%.
