The Spanish water reserve is at 37.6 percent of its total capacity. The reservoirs currently store 21,082 cubic hectometres (hm³) of water, which has decreased in the last week by 668 cubic hectometres (1.2 percent of the current total capacity of the reservoirs).
The reservation by areas is as follows:
Cantábrico Oriental 80,8%
Cantábrico Occidental 82,7%
Miño-Sil 63,5%
Galicia Costa 61,5%
Cuencas internas del País Vasco 71,4%
Duero 46,5%
Tajo 47,9%
Guadiana 24,6%
Tinto, Odiel y Piedras 60,3%
Guadalete-Barbate 16,7%
Guadalquivir 19,5%
Cuenca Mediterránea Andaluza 26,4%
Segura 26,9%
Júcar 48,1%
Ebro 37,6%
Cuencas internas de Cataluña 24,1%
Rainfall has been abundant on the Mediterranean slope and has considerably affected the Atlantic slope. The maximum has been produced in Mahón (A) with 42.5 mm (42.5 l/m²).
