The eighth edition of the Torre del Mar International Air Festival is about to take off, and excitement is at an all-time high throughout the Costa del Sol. From September 8 to 10, this aeronautical, cultural and family event promises to be a spectacle like no other, bringing together more than 300,000 spectators eager to witness some of the most exciting air displays in the world.
Organised by the Vélez-Málaga City Council, the Torre del Mar Airshow has grown in stature year after year, becoming an unmissable event for both locals and visitors from all over the world. Featuring a diverse spectrum of aircraft, from jet fighters to acrobatic patrols and historic aircraft, the Torre del Mar International Air Festival offers a spectacle that cannot be found anywhere else. Furthermore, this year will mark a historic milestone with the first appearance of Swiss patrols on Spanish soil.
The best international aerobatic pilots, including the Patrouille Suisse, the Patrulla Águila, the Yakstars and Ramón Alonso, will join this event to make the sky of Torre del Mar a canvas of emotions and aerial skills. With more than 40 aircraft on display, the festival will range from the manoeuvres of jet fighters to the acrobatics of the Plus Ultra Patrol.
