The Provincial Court of Alicante will begin to hear evidence from today, Friday, in a trial scheduled to last until Wednesday, against a man accused of entering a woman’s home without her consent, sexually assaulting her, and then trying to access the home up to three more times.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, on November 12, 2021, the defendant climbed up to the victim’s terrace, in Benidorm, and sexually forced the woman, whom he surprised and threatened with a kitchen knife.
Furthermore, the Prosecutor’s Office adds that the man knew where the woman lived, and knew that she had reduced mobility, because weeks before, specifically on September 29, he accompanied her home after she had suffered a fall in which she fractured her tibia and fibula.
The man would have tried to enter the victim’s house again up to three times between the months of November and December 2021 through the balcony. The Prosecutor’s Office considers him the author of a crime of breaking and entering and another crime of sexual assault. He also charged with three crimes of attempted home invasion.
