The government has approved a 0.5% increase in the salaries of public employees to compensate for inflation.
Personnel serving the public sector will receive this salary increase, with retroactive effects from January 2023, in their October payrolls. This is a measure included in the General State Budget Law 2023 linked to the evolution of the CPI.
About 3.5 million people will benefit from salary updates in all administrations.
The salaries of lawyers of the Administration of Justice, in addition to those of judges and prosecutors, also increase after the approval of the agreement between the Government and unions.
