The Second Section of the Provincial Court of Albacete will judge an individual identified with the initials IPB today, who is facing 30 years in prison after being accused of forcibly taking and raping a 13-year-old girl.
Another minor also participated in the attack, who, in addition to abusing the victim, recorded the events with his mobile phone.
In the indictment, the events took place around 10:30 p.m. on July 19, 2017, when the accused, IPB, accompanied by an unidentified minor, approached the victim, 13 years old, and forced her to get into a car while pushing and pulling her hair, threatening to kill her.
The defendant then drove to an open field where, brandishing a broken glass bottle, he continued to threaten the victim with death, forcing her to take off her clothes. Once naked, IPB committed a sexual assault against her while the other boy recorded her assault. After the accused, the minor who had been videoing the assault also raped her, after which they both left and left the victim in the field.
The Prosecutor’s Office considers the facts to be constitutive of two crimes of sexual assault for which it requests 30 years in prison for IPB, as well as the prohibition of approaching the victim within 500 metres for 17 years.
The Prosecutor’s Office also requests that the accused be sentenced to supervised release for 10 years, in addition to special disqualification from the exercise of any profession that involves direct contact with minors for a period of 22 years.
Likewise, IPB must compensate the victim in the amount of 10,000 euro for the moral damages caused.
