The Department of Culture in Torrevieja town hall has announced that the Natural History Museum will continue carrying out guided tours and workshops organised by the Ars Creatio Cultural Association, aimed at educational centres and the general public, with the coordination of the scientific and professor at the University of Murcia, María Luisa Molina.
Like last year, visits and workshops are included in the programming of the XV Science Week organised by Ars Creatio. This time, the reopening is extended for two months in the autumn season, from Wednesday 18 October to December 17.
The museum will open from Wednesday to Friday mornings for educational centres, which will carry out guided tours in two shifts, at 10:00 and 11:30 a.m., for up to about 30 students and lasting one hour in each shift. On Sundays and holidays, it will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with free entry, and at 11:00 a.m. there will be guided tours and workshops for the general public.
However, unlike the last season, at the moment, none of the guided tours are advertised as being in English, with registration also only available to Spanish speakers. In the Spring campaign, the last Saturday of each month was dedicated to the many English speakers who live in the town.
