Father on trial for abusing daughter

The Valencia Court judges this Tuesday a man accused of sex assault on his daughter, when she was between 6 and 10 years old.

The Prosecutor’s Office is provisionally requesting a 12-year prison sentence for a continuing crime of sexual assault.

The events occurred in the different homes in the province of Valencia, where the family has lived when, according to the Prosecutor, the man took advantage of the moments of the shower or when she was sleeping in her room to attack the minor.

On one occasion, when the girl was eight years old, he punished her for not wanting to take out the rubbish and told her that he would take away the punishment in exchange for touching her.
