The Provincial Court of Ourense will host the trial from today, Thursday, against a woman for whom the Prosecutor’s Office is requesting two years in prison for appropriating almost 12,000 euro from the accounts of a community of neighbours that she managed as a real estate worker.
According to the document from the Public Ministry, the accused disposed of a total of 22,431.49 euro for her own benefit between August 2016 and July 2019. However, of this entire amount, she has already returned 10,590 euro, so there would still be 11,841 missing.
The Prosecutor’s Office requests two years in prison for the woman for an alleged crime of misappropriation. In addition, he asks that he pay the amount that remains to be repaid, plus legal interest.
