Foreign couple on drug dealing charges

The Provincial Court of Ciudad Real will judge YRNH, born in the Dominican Republic, and his romantic partner, LL, of Romanian nationality, both with criminal records, for distributing cocaine from their home, located in Ciudad Real capital.

According to the document from the Public Prosecutor’s Office, as a result of the investigations carried out by the Narcotics Group of the Provincial Brigade of the Provincial Police Station of Ciudad Real, it was learned that the accused distributed cocaine from their home.

The accused maintained contacts with people to whom they provided quantities of cocaine for sale to third parties or for their own consumption, as stated in the document from the Public Prosecutor’s Office, which adds that the accused also distributed this substance abroad, adopting “measures of security in their movements on foot and by vehicle in their daily chores, in addition to implementing counter-surveillance measures.”

Finally, a house search was ordered in the defendants’ home, with the agents finding almost 45 grams of cocaine inside and distributed in different wrappers, in addition to 6,945 euro in cash, several precision digital scales and other substances to “cut” cocaine, such as caffeine or metamizole.

For all these reasons, the Prosecutor’s Office is requesting a five-year prison sentence for YRNH for a crime against public health for drug trafficking with the aggravating circumstance of recidivism. For her romantic partner, LL, the Public Prosecutor’s Office requests a sentence of three years and six months in prison.
