The Second Section of the Provincial Court of the Balearic Islands holds the trial from today against an educator in a Mallorca centre for allegedly touching a minor in a sexual manor.
The prosecutor is asking for nine years in prison for the defendant for a crime of sexual abuse, a restraining order for another ten years and disqualification from working with minors, plus compensation of 20,000 euro.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office brief, the events date back to the summer of 2018, when the defendant was working in a centre as an educator. One day, in the 15-year-old girl’s room, he touched her over her clothes and insisted that she perform a sex act on him.
