The former employee of a company that was in charge of managing employee travel will be tried on Wednesday.
She is accused of defrauding the company of more than 243,000 euro by selling trips intended for employees outside the company, according to the High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community.
The events occurred between 2017 and 2020, when, according to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the defendant offered trips and hotel stays at half price through an advertisement website.
The Prosecutor’s Office is asking for a three-year prison sentence for a continuing crime of fraud and maintains that with this system she caused a loss of more than 243,000 euro.
