At the start of the week, investors will focus their attention on the publication of the Sentix index for July in the Eurozone. Meanwhile, we will learn about Germany’s trade balance for the month of May.
Tuesday 9 will be notable for the absence of macroeconomic references.
On Wednesday, Italy’s industrial output for May will be published, after recording a year-on-year contraction of 2.9% in April.
On Thursday, we will know the final reading of the CPI in Germany for June, which stands at a preliminary reading of 2.2% year-on-year, close to the ECB’s 2% target. Meanwhile, several relevant figures for the United Kingdom will also be published, such as GDP, industrial production and the trade balance.
To end the week, the final reading of the CPI for Spain for the month of June will be released, which in its preliminary reading showed a moderation of its interannual rate of change to 3.4% (vs. 3.6% in May). In turn, we will also learn the final inflation data for France for last month.
At the business level, the Inditex General Shareholders Meeting will take place.
