The official Standard of The Royal British Legion Albox Branch was stolen from a car parked in the car park near La Parrilla Hotel & Restaurant around 12.30 to 1.30 p.m. on Thursday 5th September 2013.

The Standard was in its black leather carrying case at the time and it is believed it was mistaken for a rifle (see attached photographs. The Standard bears the words ‘ALBOX BRANCH’ instead of those shown)

Despite a quick and thorough search of the area by La Guardia Civil and members of the Branch it has not yet been recovered. The Standard defines the Branch and sentimentally is irreplaceable.

If anyone spots either the case or the Standard please urgently contact La Guardia on 112 on your mobile or the Branch Chairman Peter Phillips on 693 483 392 or peatpee@sky.com or any member of the Branch committee.
Thank you for your help.
