Ana Pastor mediates in conflict over works on Panama Canal expansion project

The Spanish Minister for Public Works, Ana Pastor, announced in Panama on Monday, 6 January, that a rapprochement has been achieved between the parties involved in the works to expand the Panama Canal. The parties “are going to sit down, talk and open dialogue to try and resolve the problems”. Furthermore, she stressed that the GUPC consortium has committed to ensuring that all claims are made through contractual channels.
