Torrevieja Resident Arrested on Islamic State Terrorism Suspicion
A Moroccan citizen, who is a resident of Torrevieja has reportedly been arrested in Warsaw on suspicion of terrorist activities for the Islamic State.
The man, who has the initials AAEK, was the subject of an International arrest warrant and was arrested whilst ravelling back into Europe.
Investigators believe that the man became radicalised in 2014 and fought in the Daesh region of the Islamic State. It is believed he had weapons and explosives training in addition to his combat role.
