Firefighters from the Alicante Provincial Fire Consortium battled a fire in a scrap yard that burned around 2,000 square metres of scrapped vehicles in the town of El Escorratel, Orihuela (Alicante) on Thursday.
The call came in at around 17:30 reporting the fire at “desguace El Campeón” on the CV930. Fire crews from Orihuela, Almoradí, Torrevieja and Crevillent were dispatched to the scene.
