Government welcomes entry into force of Third Optional Protocol to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child

14/01/2014. The Government of Spain welcomes the upcoming entry into force, in April 2014, of the Third Optional Protocol to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which expressly protects the right of the child to seek redress for violations of their rights. This entry into force will take place following the deposit of the tenth instrument of ratification by Costa Rica.
