Governmental Disrespect

The government of Alicante has expressed disappointment that a meeting with the finance ministry to discuss the impact on cuts has been cancelled.

The meeting was scheduled to take place on Monday but the national government´s office decided to withdraw from the discussion at short notice, which Alicante described as “disrespectful”. The Alicante team now want the meeting rescheduled “as quickly as possible” so that they can discuss the problems and limits that the austerity plan has been causing.
