A 69-year-old golfer on the Las Ramblas course on the Orihuela Costa had an unscheduled end to his round last Friday, after he fell down a seven-metre high slope.
The man, said to be of Danish nationality, had to be rescued by a Torrevieja fire crew, who used a ladder to carry him to safety. He was taken to Torrevieja Hospital where he was treated for bruising to his head and arms.
