Drainage Improvement Works on the N-332 at La Mata

Torrevieja´s local government has been informed that the Ministry of Public Works has begun the execution of the drainage works of the N-332 Road at La Mata, where it joins with Avenida de los Europeos, to try to avoid continual flooding in the area during heavy rains.

The work consists of excavations at the exit of the currently existing drainage works, to improve its functionality. With this work it is possible that a municipal plot will be temporarily affected in which the land extracted from the excavation will be deposited, if necessary.

This action has been considered an emergency by the State Roads Demarcation in the Valencian Community and consists of the “adequacy, repair and improvement of the drainage system at N-332 kilometre PK 63”.
