The new anti-riot vans of the Catalan Mossos d’Esquadra, destined for the Mobile Brigade (BRIMO) and Operational Resources (ARRO), will incorporate recording systems that will allow sending live images to the Coordination Center (CECOR).
“These images will allow us to know first-hand the current situation in order to make operational decisions within the framework of the management of the operation,” the regional police reported in a statement on Thursday.
The new vehicles also include improvements in the reflective elements of the vehicle increasing its visibility at night, and incorporate new communication systems from the RESCAT network and pre-recorded messages with police instructions.
