Germany under the financial spotlight today

Although there are a number of financial reports set to be published in Spain on Monday, attention is likely to be more focussed on Germany within the Eurozone.

In Spain, attention is directed to the business sphere in a day in which Almirall and NH publish their first quarter results. Meanwhile, in the euro area, the Senxit index for May will be released and German industrial production for March will also come out. On the other side of the Atlantic, investors will remain attentive to the final data on wholesale inventories for March in the US, on a Monday when the London Stock Exchange is closed for a holiday.

Friday will be an important day for the UK, when the ONS publishes first quarter GDP growth. The last quarterly release in February unexpectedly showed the UK had narrowly avoided a recession in 2022.

Spain

NH Hotel Group presents its first quarter results.

Almirall publishes its financial accounts from January to March.

Nicolás Correa pays a dividend of 0.23 euro per share.

Eurozone

The ECB publishes the aggregate results of the survey of monetary analysts for May.

The Sentix Investor Confidence Index for May comes out.

Germany

Industrial production for March.

BioNTech publish results.

USA

PayPal publishes quarterly results.
